Safety production skills competition and fire drill

Recently, Dongyang Morning Eagle company jointly organized a safety production skills competition and fire drill, aiming to improve the safety quality and emergency skills of employees. The theme of this event is “Observe the Safety Production Law and Be the First Responsible Person”.

80 employees from the sales department and production workshop gathered at the company’s factory located in the industrial park. They simulated emergency fire extinguishing methods in the event of a sudden fire. The campaign aims to impart the necessary skills and knowledge to employees to respond effectively in such situations.

Through actual combat drills, the firefighters demonstrated the process of extinguishing the initial fire, using fire-fighting facilities, extinguishing the fire of the liquefied petroleum gas tank, and using a fire truck to extinguish the fire. Teaching staff how to use fire extinguishers, understand fire emergency escape skills, deal with gas tank leakage, fire and other fire fighting knowledge.

Once you’ve sufficiently practiced your outdoor skills, it’s time to move on to the trivia session. The contestants tested their knowledge and understanding of production safety skills through the Q&A and quick-answer sessions. The competition aims to strengthen the teamwork and collaboration of the participants, which is essential in real life.

In recent years, Weishan Town has attached great importance to work safety. The town has achieved this goal through activities such as strengthening safety education, extensively carrying out safety personnel training, launching job competitions, safety inspections and the combination of the “five advancements” of safety. These efforts have successfully enhanced employees’ safety awareness, improved safety production skills, and created a good safety production environment.

Making production safety a priority is critical and this event is a great example of how companies are taking proactive steps to teach their employees valuable safety skills. Armed with this knowledge, employees can better respond to any emergencies that may arise, keeping workers, the workplace and the environment safe.
