The 29th China International Composites Exhibition Opens in Shanghai, Domestic Carbon Fiber Achieves New Technological Breakthrough
The 29th China International Composite Materials Industry Technology Exhibition
The 29th China International Composite Materials Industry Technology Exhibition opened on September 1 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), with 977 enterprises from 17 countries and regions participating, showcasing the innovative achievements of the composite materials industry. The exhibition covers an area of 76,000 square meters, bringing together companies from various segments of the composite materials supply chain, including glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid, resin matrices, and molding equipment. The first day of the exhibition saw over 22,000 attendees, highlighting the global influence of China’s composite materials industry.
Strategic Emerging Industries
The new materials industry is an important component of strategic emerging industries. Currently, domestic high-performance carbon fibers such as the T1000 series have achieved technological breakthroughs, thermoplastic composites and bio-based composites are accelerating in deployment, and the applications of composites in aerospace, wind power, and the low-altitude economy are continually expanding. China’s composite materials industry has already become an important engine for the development of the global composite materials industry.
