The 11th National Conference on the Transformation and Collaboration of Textile Science and Technology Achievements is about to be held
The 11th National Conference on the Transformation and Cooperation of Textile Science and Technology Achievements, themed “Empowering Technological Innovation in Textiles with New Quality,” is scheduled to be held from November 6 to 7, 2026, in Keqiao, Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The conference will bring together academicians, experts, and representatives from leading industry enterprises to conduct special-topic presentations on cutting-edge areas such as innovative applications of high-performance fibers, thermal management of textile metamaterials, fluorine-free functional finishing, enzymatic wool fiber finishing, and green fibers.
Keynote Insights
Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Cheng Bowen, will deliver a report titled “Upgrading Paths for High-End Applications of High-Performance Fibers.”
Experts including Professor Zhang Keqin from Soochow University, Professor Wang Qiang from Jiangnan University, and Guo Yuting, Product Management Manager of Huafeng Chemical’s Marketing Department, will exchange ideas on topics such as multi-scenario thermal management with textile metamaterials, green processing for anti-pilling and machine-washable multifunctional wool products, and sustainable solutions for spandex.
Functional Materials & Smart Fabrics
Institutions such as Soochow University, 361 Degrees, Ningbo Cixing, Tianjin University of Technology, and Kuangda Technology will introduce new achievements including the ergonomic effectiveness of bedding, intelligent thermal and humidity management, knitted flexible sensors and robotic skin, aerogel phase-change thermal management materials, and embodied robot flexible smart skin systems.
Green Fibers & Eco-Dyeing
Organizations including the China National Textile and Apparel Council, Donghua University, Shanghai Defulun, Dalian Polytechnic University, Xinxiang Chemical Fiber, and Shanghai University of Engineering Science will focus on high-strength flame-retardant lyocell, silk protein bionic functional fibers, bio-based antibacterial nylon, mycelium-based fibers, and non-aqueous medium dyeing technologies.
Smart Manufacturing & AI
Huawei, Shenghong Group, Xi’an University of Engineering, and Zhejiang University of Technology will present achievements in digital transformation, AI applications in flexible manufacturing, AI models for washing solution color assessment, AI-enabled quality inspection, and intelligent detection of anti-mite performance.
This conference is hosted by the China Textile Engineering Society. As an important platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, it facilitates the “last mile” of technology transfer and helps accelerate the textile industry’s advancement towards high-end, intelligent, and green development.
