According to statistics from Chinese customs, measured in US dollars, from January to December 2025, China’s textile and apparel exports overall remained relatively stable. The total export value for the year was 293.767 billion USD, representing a year-on-year decrease of 2.4% compared to 2024, but better than expected.
In December 2025, China’s exports of textile yarns, fabrics, and products amounted to 12.5796 billion USD; from January to December 2025, exports reached 142.5848 billion USD, showing a year-on-year increase of 0.5%; in the same period of 2024, exports of textile yarns, fabrics, and products were 141.9414 billion USD.
In December 2025, China’s exports of garments and clothing accessories totaled 13.4124 billion USD; from January to December 2025, exports reached 151.1822 billion USD, a year-on-year decrease of 5.0%; in 2024, exports of garments and clothing accessories were 159.1247 billion USD.
In December 2025, China’s imports of textile yarns, fabrics, and products amounted to 0.9971 billion USD; from January to December 2025, imports totaled 9.9736 billion USD, a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%; in 2024, imports of textile yarns, fabrics, and products were 10.8307 billion USD.
