On August 4th, the mainstream prices for domestic polyester and nylon filament yarns remained stable, with the benchmark prices of various varieties unchanged from the beginning of August, as the market entered a phase of sideways consolidation.

At present, the market is in the traditional off-season, with downstream weaving enterprises maintaining only essential procurement, showing weak willingness for bulk stocking. Fluctuations on the upstream raw material side are limited, providing support to the spot prices of synthetic fibers. Both upstream and downstream participants are largely waiting to observe signals from autumn and winter orders. Industry analysts suggest that in the short term, prices for polyester and nylon filament yarns are likely to continue stable, while the market turning point still needs to be monitored in relation to the recovery of downstream demand.
